So it got squashed way back in 2000...got rebuilt 'soon', or sometime after that, and those orig 10K miles were put on the first year?
And, it's been sitting for over a decade?

Yes, 'very low miles', as it's been in situ since then...
I wouldn't touch it, imo

Almost worth it to purchase and have hauled to part out... Anyone local interested in doing just that? Would be interested in wheels for the right price (I'm sure I'd need to replace tires if they've been sitting for a good number of years...

The bad thing is I am not far from that at all! That is halfway between my Metairie house and Tickfaw house... And if all the parts are present I could put it together no problems with a lift. If I came across this in about 3 years I'd get it for fun!

It would probably be a fun project. I just don't have the space and there is no way my wife will let me keep the motor in the kitchen.

You think driving them does bad things for rubber, try letting them sit for a decade. I bet nothing rubber on that truck is useable, and most plastic is baked brittle as well. You cannot let things sit that long. Add that to the fact the truck looks like hell and I don't care if it was never driven at all, it's just a whole lot of nothing IMO.
