just doing the MTP-95R install now in my 4.4i and im running into a small space issue. the class 49 batt that is in the black tub is secured in place by a few tall wedges... i put my class 95 batt in and these wedges seem to be inhibiting my batt install.
This MTP-95r is the same exact size as the duralast gold and people seem to be running this but is anyone running it in a non 4.8iS? Maybe a 4.8 can handle the 39cm battery but not a 4.4 ![]()

If this is what you meant, then I'm further confused by the implication that you have multiple hold down clamps. You only need one which is usually located on the negative battery terminal side due to the vent tube being on the other side. I'm just sort of confused not knowing if you meant the hold down clamp...or some molded in wedges in your battery compartment that I'm not familiar with . ![]() #1 is the battery hold down clamp. ..is this the wedges you're referring to?. If yes, you should only need one: ![]() (Or is there no room for the hold down clamp on the right side when mounting a 95R/H9 battery in a 4.8is?) ![]()
