Clicking when turning left

I've done some searching but couldn't really find anything difinitive. My 2003 X5 3.0i has started clicking from the left front whenever I turn left. It only does it when I turn left and only on the left side. I've read some people say the axle, some say the sway-bar links but Idk. I've looked and the boots on the axles both look good and can't see any abnormal wear or anything on the sway bar end links either. The car has about 98000 miles now so I know things are starting to wear out and am ready to replace whatever it is that needs to be, but I don't want to just start replacing parts without knowing what has the highest possibility of correcting it.
