Thanks JCL
I have another question for you if you don't mind. Is there left delivery unit? If I can access to the delivery unit, I want to change them both. I know there are two sensors but unsure about how many delivery unit. Thanks

The left unit is item 3 in the picture. It is a level sensor, which works in combination with item 1. There is not a pump on the left side.

IMO the problem could be in the sender units or in the gauge cluster that interprets the signal from the sender units.. There is a diagnostic procedure to check the cluster but I don't know the details of it. A BMW technician would.

If you don't get it diagnosed properly you risk spending money that you don't need to in replacing components unnecessarily.
