How many miles on your radiator?

I am replacing all the hoses and and my radiator seems to be ok. It has probably 60k mi on it. I am switching to NPG+ (low pressure coolant) anyway but I am wondering how much longer will mine last.

I should probably keep it and hope it's going to last. The NPG+ would help as well.

I replaced all hoses, thermostat, water pump & belts at about 100K miles last summer. I'm now at 117K miles, same radiator, no problems!

mine went to 119K and then started leaking, so I took the opportunity to replace the water pump and all the hoses while I was at it. The expansion tank and upper radiator hose went out around 85K.

At 60K miles, I would not worry about it unless you see signs of leakage. Yes, they can fail at 60K, but they can also last double that or more. I figure its better to wait for the first thing to fail then replace it all while you are in. That said - I was ready to do my entire cooling system at 115K as purely preventative so I had all the parts when the radiator decided to start leaking and force my hand to get-er-done.

I'm struggling to see the relationship between vehicle miles and radiators failing. Radiator age in years, I get. Vehicle operating hours, I get. But miles?

One vehicle drives four years in traffic. Another drives four years on the highway. Total miles are double with the second vehicle. But the first radiator is more likely to fail at that point.

I also think the climate matters. Mild climate and garaged vehicle the cooling system is going to last longer than one that lives in a more extreme (hot or cold) climate and parked outside all the time.
