Belt and alternator replacement

I recently removed and replaced my alternators voltage regulator. I now need a diagram of the serpentine belt and its route since I lost my phone with all the snap shots of how I removed everything. It's for a 2005 4.4i.

All other pics of 3.0's or earlier X5 models I've searched here seem to have a pully attached to the alternator in a different position than mine.

I beleive I have placed it in its correct locations and path but It's so tight I can not get the tension pully back in to its slot to tighten and lock in its position.

.....Also ater I re-installed the alternator I am having trouble inserting the bottom (longer) bolt to catch the thread at the end. The bolt is 3/4 of the way in but cant catch the thread. The top shorter bolt is fully inserted.

I would greatly apreciate any help.

Thanks!
