I went to St. Petersburg one time just for a few days. Was there for white nights - very pretty, but I didn't get much sleep.
And to get back on topic - Even if I were allowed to put a euro plate on, I wouldn't do it. But here in Virginia we are required to show both front and back state license plates. John

the euro plate is very classic & eye catching if u have it in the front. i get alot of compliments on my X regarding the euro plate. most ppl think is shipped 4m Germany, not realizing X5 r made in the U.S.

Eye catching or not, the german plates seem like such a tool move (and I mean that in the nicest way). The car isn't from Germany, we aren't in Germany, and if you travel to Germany you will rent a different car. I strongly prefer the look of no license plate! All personal preference I guess, but I think this is almost as bad as the incorrect use of an //M badge.

i will follow that one up.
i personally have zero idea which way i like better. BUT, i will tell you this, you will get more haters from having it on, then not having it. People who like euro plates on their car will not look down on you for not having one, but people who dont like them, will look down on you if you have it. so heres how it works, if you install the plate: -People who dont like it will hate -people who are indifferent (like me) will be indifferent -people who like the plate, will think it looks cool If you dont install the plate: -People who dont like it will have no chance to make fun -people who are indifferent will still be indifferent -people who like the plate wont know the difference because they will never know if you were deciding to put it there or not.. I vote dont install, no chance for haters

Keep it clean
![]() Also great points. After looking at the front of my X5 for several days with the new underride and black kidneys, I have decided that it looks very clean and does not need anything else. I do like the euro plates, but I agree that there are too many haters out there... Now, I suppose I should just confuse the hell out of everyone and stick my tourist plate on the front of my Chevrolet Express??? ![]()
