Hi, I'm very jealous.
I drive maybe 5 miles a day now that school has started. Local roads at 25 MPH with plenty of stop signs. I'm averaging 14 MPG. Woooo!

I get around 7.6 l/100km average sitting @ 100 km/h on the freeway. BTW, are these figures from your trip computer or calculated ? I find the trip computer in mine very optimistic at between 10-15% out, not sure if these can be calibrated any better like you can on some cars. |

Your lucky, my 05 3.0d wont go below 12l/100. Combined city/motorway driving, maybe 40-50km per day.
6-8months ago, it used to do about 7.8-9l/100 with the same type of driving. All figures from the onboard computer. I know it has an issue, cleaned out the EGR, Intake Manifold and replaced MAF. Still searching for the problem. Also, last fill up, I got my diesel (Caltex) for AU$1.32 and normal unleaded was AU$1.39.. ![]() Rob |
