X5 Supposed to be like this ??

I spent last week in Cape Cod and LA. During that time I rented a Ford Escape and a Mitsubishi Galant. Neither model is available for sale in Ireland.

Both of them seemed really light, and the steering was very very light. Almost no resistance at all, and very little feel through the steering wheel. Then when I got back into my own car it felt so heavy. Much more muscle required to turn the wheel.

I guess the X5 is a much heavier car and is bound to feel like that. But I guess I'm just checking to be sure there's nothing wrong with it. Does it make sense that it would feel so much heavier than the two rental cars ?
