2-axle EHC or EHC-II is not cheap and can only be purchased through BMW.
My warranty replaced mine since it was throwing errors when it shouldn't have. 1-axle EHC or EHC-I is much cheaper, at around $150-$200, I believe.

Suspension Control Unit (EHC) is bad
thanks for the replied!
I guess mine is the EHC-II since it's an all 4 wheels Active Suspension. What I'd like to know, can this module really go bad because I had it on a lift and drove it. I feel the dealer is trying to rip me off by not wanting to reset and reprogrammed the module. I already told them i'm not fixing it. Is there any test, or anything else i can do verify if infact module is bad.... |

Only the dealer, for what I've seen so far, can test the module and the other components around it (pressure accumulator tank, compressor, valve block, sensors)
