connecting an ampilifer to the speaker wires

I took out my mid radio and it has only 6 wires going to it.

If I connect any speaker wire to the highinput on the amp then the subwoofer works, but after switching the car off for about 10mins then there is no sound from the radio until I disconnect the speaker wire form the amp.

anyone here a radio expert? I want to order a new MID for my X.i found one on ebay but its for a 4.4i that was dsp equipped.my X isn't dsp equipped.is there a problem with the wiring harness going into that MID?
