Help w/Radiator Please
The radiator place indicated there were 2, one with a hose hole, and one without? Is there an easy way to determine which one I need? I have to get this ordered right away. Thanks! |

You have a 2001 X5 4.4 sport. Its not a 4.6 sport is it?
I just wanted to make sure. So your expansion tank failed, and the radiator? As far as I can see with both 4.4 and 4.6 there is one type radiator and one type expansion tank that is OEM BMW. Thanks Joe

No the expansion tank is fine. It has been replaced. It's the vertical ends, if you will, of the radiator itself that are made of plastic and cracked on the one side.
For some reason the local radiator place can't seem to cross reference the BMW part number, they seem to have two replacements, apparently one has two heater hose outlets and one has one. |

I am only showing one type radiator for your 2001 E53 4.4i.
Click HERE to see item. This is OEM BMW. We have it here for what you need, they might be getting the parts mixed up? I hope I helped. Thanks Joe
