iPod integration question for '06 3.0 with Nav & DSP

I just purchased a 2006 3.0 with Nav and DSP, and I'd like to get an iPod adapter for it, such as the Dice Duo. Do I need the DSP adapter for that model year? I've heard conflicting advice on that, so I'm not sure. Also, are there any better systems out there for similar cost? I don't need the MediaBridge, as I do not need Bluetooth or USB connectivity. I'm sorry if this is a redundant post; I've searched, but haven't found this particular question. Thanks!

Just installed the Dice Duo and Sirius Connect in my 2003 3.0L in 30 minutes love it! I have Nav but no DSP. Be sure to set your Dice Duo volume at the Minimum level or you will get static. Enjoy!

i have the dice ipod adapter sitting on my bench. (i'll let it go cheap) it works great. i bought a used ipod and just leave it connected in the rear cargo area. (takes 10 mins to connect that way) i have dsp and did NOT need the dsp adaptor. i took it out of my X5 to put the mediabridge in. I wanted the bluetooth for my iphone. this enables me to listen to sirius radio with the app.
