Car starts sometimes, wtf gives

Get this....Before I head up to meet Triple A at the car Im fucking with the key it doesn't work no way. My attempt was to pry the sucker open. So Im going along the grooves as mentioned on this site. Scraping away clearing away yada yada...Then I get a screw driver and a hammer and I start tapping at the fob at the point where the key goes in and I'm whacking and whacking some more. Nothing... Ok fine. I head uptown call Triple A and wait... I sit in the car, put the key and the damn thing turns on Im like wtf, this is pure madness. Such a temperamental vehicle. Ok I call the tow off take the car home, get out double back as Im thinking please let this girl start and the car successfully starts again.

There we have it, its the damn key. Im so thankful to you all. OTL said it was the key...so thankful as this is the cheapest fix. Faranks thanks for the info, will be keeping my eye out. JST, Im going to clean the connectors anyway just as a precaution this weekend, thanks for the tip. The Dweeb, you hooked ya girl up with that diagram thank ya kindly; you're not a dweeb to me
