Ahhh. So the transmission cooler is cooled by coolant from the radiator. A radiator that works off a 110c thermostat. So hot ass coolant is "cooling" hot ass atf. So at best condition in hot climate & load conditions. The coolant is maybe being cooled to just below 110c. You do realize that's over 200F. That's NOT a good temperature for a transmission. You don't need to be a transmission expert to realize that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No And transmission temp is regulated separate from engine temp.

External Transmission cooler?

You should probably look into that. The trans cooler thermostat literally controls the flow of coolant from the radiator into the trans cooler. Yeah, if the temp may be lower than 110 of after the coolant flows out o the radiator into the trans cooler, but it's still pretty Fukin hot, since said flow is activated by a 110c thermostat. Also, I'm not offended. Don't flatter yourself. You're simply not going to sway my opinion. But you keep trying tho. I've spoken to my own experts and done some reading, as well as my past experience with an auto trans on a HD diesel pickup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
