So my car died lol

So my car died and I need to change the water pump. So I was thinking I'm sure I also need to change my moter mounts as well. Now I'm not the one going to do the work. So does it make more sense to do this all at once as well as a full tune up? What does a tune up consist of regulary? How much should this all cost me? I was qouted 250 for the labor on the water pump. So how much more that would be u think

A 'tune up' on most cars these days may include new plugs, oil & filter, etc. I would also rec'd brake fluid change, maybe power steering fluid, check belts, (or replace, as you are getting your water pump replaced), maybe fuel filter, but it's a tough change, etc.

What makes you think you need new 'motor mounts'?

Pricing for the pump and related coolant items, will vary considerably...I would find a knowledgeable BMW Indie tech, for that and your 'tune up', imo.

Well I already got the water pump and the big belt. I need the AC belt and cooloant to finish water pump job. So I'm good there.

As far as reason for moter mount will over certain speed bumps there a horrible sound like its moving also when building up speed in the 20 to 30 MPH range there's a slight shutter.

And for the tune up I got the truck a year ago and honestly the only thing I have done is change the oil once. Not sure about previous owner but truck only had 77000 miles when I got it.
