Led tail light errors

Hey guys iv searched for ppl having issues with the LED tail lights and the main issue would be from the flickering which is solved by adding a capacitor. I got my capacitor from Lightwerkz and purchased a LED tail light from Ebay(Spyder Auto) and from what i can tell i hooked it up right. I connected the Red(+) capacitor to the Red Wire and the BLack to black. Makes the tail ilght light up real bright and flickering is gone. But when i am not on the break pedals i get an error for check break lights and when i am on it the error disappears. Is this normal? and there is a 3rd wire which is the green wire(ground i believe) on another post someone used that. i am not sure i hooked it up right now

LED do not normally draw enough to fool the computer. When you hit the brakes you do draw enough. You most likely need a resistor (or a bulb) in a parallel circuit to the bulbs on each side to fool the computer.

i see, so i guess this is normal to see this and to fix this i would have to create a slightly greater draw of energy in order for the computer to say that the lamps are ok. Anyone took the time to do that?

LED's do not "show' the right signature to the computer until the brake lights actually come on so a bulb/resistor will fool the computer. Resistor kits are out there at most of the LED bulb suppliers. Little pricey but a bulb mounted and wired correctly will do the job for a lot less.

LightWerkz Capacitor Fix for LED Tail Lamps

Needed:
1. Set of pliers
2. 5 minutes of your time

1. Use provided red wire tap-in connectors; clamp one on the green wire, and the other on either of the two black wires. This is on the aftermarket wiring side, not on the OEM wiring. We do not want to modify that!
2. Plug in the red side of the capacitor to the green wire, and then the black side of the capacitor to the black wire.
3. Zip tie the capacitor neatly to the rest of the wiring.
4. Go enjoy your new Led tails!

Thanks for the responce Lightwerkz! Great Customer service. Emailed about me losing the clamps and the guy sends it the next day at 9 am right away to me so i would be able to finish my LED tail lights. I believe the Green to Red wire and Black to black has solved the issue with the Error! i might of been blinding ppl with my tail lights apparently it was REALLY REALLY bright even without brake pressure and lit up another row of lights when i would apply brake lights. Hurts my eyes just looking at it previously lol.
