Try replacing the battery
try fixing the remote with a battery replacement for about $15. if that works you'll be able to roll the window down and get in the car.
Once the window is down since your issue is with a front door, this may help http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...-fix-pics.html Incidentally, I have an issue with my back door and cannot use the above fix due to the quarter window. Anyone have any suggestions?
