There is a similar rig for sale on Ebay right now. (red). I'd keep an eye on that one and see what it goes for.
I've been searching for a 4.8is for a while now and came across several of these along the way. I can tell you that the LeMans blue seems to command a few extra dollars over the other colors so you have a plus there. To the right buyer I bet you can get $17,500 provided you have service records and the keys/manuals for it.

BEAUTIFUL X5! I'd pay it off and keep the hello columbia out of it. Nothing wrong with having a weekend love affair with her.
Then of course marriage has it's duties, so Im told. lol

Recently sold similar 03 with 90k miles in North East (buyer flew up from FL)...current resale market isn't kind to first gen E53 iS models. Private sale is obviously your best bet...just be realistic with pricing and it should move.

I just bought a 2003 with a tick under 100k for $13K and saw a 2002 Imola red with red interior and around 120k sell for a tad over $10k. The weird part is there is very little difference in pricing between the 3.0, 4.4 and 4.6 in the used market despite the HUGE difference in initial cost.
That's why I bought the 4.6is, best bang for the buck !
