There is a build date vin split for the grilles.

The ones found HERE are for SAVs built BEFORE 10/2003.

The grilles found HERE are for SAVs built AFTER 10/2003, these would be the ones for your 06.

They are Matte black solid plastic so if they do get nicked the color does not change.

That is exactly why I don't want to paint mine. Its one of those things I don't want to constantly address. The car has enough to address as is. Thanks.
