Reusing Reinforcement Plate Bolts & Torque

Just changed the front & rear diff oils. Bentley sez to use new fastening bolts on the reinforcement plate. Three questions:

1. Can I use the originals for a couple of weeks until I get new ones?
2. If I tighten then to spec (stage 1 - 56Nm, stage 2 - +90 degrees), am I OK without replacing?
3. I could't quite get + 90degrees (maybe 45) on the rear bolts which also secure the stabilizer bar to the frame. Dey real tight though. A-OK?

Thanks guys,
Chef Kevin

Are you talking about the skid/reinforcement plate that is below the oil Pan? If so, I've taken that off and replaced with old bolts 4 or 5 times over the last 60,000 miles. Is that what you mean?

Ditto - have removed/replaced many times with the bolts that're in there. If they're torque to yield, then that just tells me next time maybe I'll replace them with something else entirely and be done with that issue.

I forgot to mention that I didn't torque the bolts with a torque wrench.

Dr Gut-en-tite says bottom the bolts out then 1/4 - 1/3 turn should be gutentite!
