Can someone help me find the part number for PDC cover ECS help please

Hi All, Looking at the following link

RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.8is Park Distance Control (PDC)

I need the part number for number 10. I am about to order the number 4 from ECST, but I feel I might as well get the number 10 cover. My entire PDC seems to wobble in the bumper, so I feel I may have been love taped and somehow broke in it.

Thanks in advance.

Sup bro. No that doesn't look right. I need the trim around the PDC. My PDC doesn't even want to stay in place. I can wiggle it but can't take it out. The trim looks flat, not coned.

I think your GT1 really pinpointed it. Once I saw it, I was sure it was screwed. I did the clicking test too. You certainly know your e53.

If you look at the sensor, PN above, it doesn't show the trim.

If its not the part I linked then its PROBABLY a part that comes with the PDC front bumper instead. Meaning, when you buy a front bumper with the PDC option it comes with the sensor holders.

If you cannot purchase it separately then you'll have to pull one from a salvage yard or get lucky on fleabay, CL, etc. Its hard to believe you couldn't get that part separately but you never know.

Next time I take my bumper off I'll have to take pics for future reference.

Strange that when I use your link it shows a part number for part #10.

However, if I start from the beginning on realoem and I use 2004-2006 4.8is, part #10 isn't listed at all.

Wow you know that is strange. Once I click on the link above, it shows me the part number as well. Still does not look right. I am curious if this is the part that its busted on my car. I think I might order it anyway to see. Maybe this is what keeps the sensor stable in the bumper.

Still hope ECS can come into this thread and help me out.

Twins, I am going to take off the bumper as soon as I get the parts. I will take pics of this. Thanks again.

Might want to just double-check first before you order. I know they're inexpensive but if you don't need them ...

That way you could confirm that's the part you need if it matches the pics. Another is there's a chance a part number is stamped on there that you could use to track it down.

The diagram at realoem looks like its for the 3.0/4.4 not for a 4.6/4.8 (at least the diagram for the front).

Good luck!
