Guys if you have never been to NYC, or anywhere around here, you really don't understand the conditions of the roads we drive on.

At least once a year I replace;
1. At least one tire. At least. Due to blow out, bubble, tear, etc...
2. Bent rim.
3. Occasionally I hit such a huge hole that I split a rim.

I had poly bushings on my Lexus, it took it fine except they started to squeal like a pig about a year into it. Constant re-greasing. Nothing ever fell off of it due to the bushings, but you never know with these BMWs.

To each their own... I have stiff coilover suspension on my S2000 and drive it around San Francisco. I also visited all over NYC last summer and have a good idea of how the streets look.

there is another in between option: go with Meyle which are better than stock but not not as hard as the power flex.

If you have not driven Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens in March you have NO idea how bad these roads get!!!

NEVER heard/seen that with these powerflexes (or even dinan steel monoball mounts) on E38/9s or E53s. Maybe on E36/46s....but not on the e53
