Well most of you have probably seen the 5 series rings installed into an X5 headlight. I'm sorry but it just doesn't look right. The inside ring is much smaller than the size of the light itself. (Look at the first pic and you know what I mean.)
I am on a mission to install the rings from an 04/05 X5 into the older light assembly. This is the correct size and the original OEM light rings. Here is a work in progress...
I have taken the rings and assemblies apart. Tomorrow they are going to Umnitza who will complete the work and heat seal the assemblies. So my truck is out of commission for this week!
I'll be sure to post pics once completed.
