Don't they sell them on ebay or something. Like a film to go over it.

Yeah, I put anti-glare film on mine. It helped, but if there's direct sunlight, you still won't be able to see the screen. Glare definitely reduced, however.

i tinkered with this idea since i have some manufactring connections in China.
i made a few cardboard prototypes, basically a visor that would "wedge" into the gap on the top of the screen. (also made a couple with wings on the side) Felt this would be the best option since almost nobody uses the tape player. i aborted the mission since the tooling cost would never be recouped. |

Hit Eject button for the tape deck, the screen then fold down and that should fix the glare issue that you've got ........
.J/K but if someone can hotwire and use that as an anti glare function would be good since no one use cassette tape anyway.

I'm going to bang out a mould that I can attach to the existing frame using balsa wood and vacuum forming abs around it, that way all functionality of the system is retained (including the tape player). Might be weeks in the process but if I come up with something will post it.

You can increase the resolution using the hidden menu. This should help

![]() 1-Go to main menu (where "On-board computer" tab at the top left, and "Set" at the lower left). 2-Scroll to "Set", and push to enter. 3-Press "Menu" (and keep pressing) for long time (10 seconds I believe) 4- The hidden menu now appears. ![]() 5-Search options using the right rotating/push button. One option is for increasing/ decreasing resolution. You should be at middle (0). I've put it to max (+10). Now my screen looks like installed today ![]() Tell us what happens please. |
