Thanx. But I already did the glove compartment fuze thing with a multimeter....no luck. All said fine. I hope it isn't a failure in part of the computer.

I was under the impression that it would reset when I changed the battery.....wrong? OR, would it be better to do it again?

Deff do it again. Lots of little things go haywire when the battery dies.

Maybe the battery is weak. If you are sure the battery is good, then disconnect the battery and let the car sit for a few minutes and reconnect the battery to see if everything resets.

OP: have you replaced the battery now? If so, ensure it is fully charged, then disconnect it for a few minutes. Then reconnect.
If you haven't replaced the battery yet, it could be the ongoing source of your problems. If neither of the above works, then you could have damaged the vehicle electrical system or specific components (like the gauge cluster) with a voltage spike when you jumped it.
