Accident... (F@cking pissed!!!)

So today I got into an accident... I was driving home after picking up food on a two way street. There was a lot of oncoming traffic, but on the side that i was driving on had no traffic at all., I was probably going 35mph, and as i was about to pass a small intersection with a stop sign only on one side from the traffic to the left of me, a Toyota Rav4 ran that stop sign and try to fly through the intersection at which point I actually helped him out with the flying... I hit him rear right and drove right through like a tank, his car went spinning doing a 360 and ending up on the curb... (pictures to follow tomorow)... Here is my question I hit him at 35mph and my airbag didn't work (should have it worked?)... Pictures tomorow...

Sorry to hear about the accident. Regarding the airbags, the answer rests with where you hit him with the X5 relative to where the sensors are located.

If you didn't have enough slowing of the X5 with the impact, you wouldn't have set off your airbags. Since you say you drove through the other vehicle, it sounds like you didn't impact hard enough to set off your airbags.

Sorry to her about your accident but the most important thing is that you are ok. For the air bag as the gang said it depends where you hit the car and the
strength of the impact. In your case it sounds like the impact was not strong enough to trigger the air bag.

Sorry to hear about your accident. My mom told me to never take pictures of accidents because it's not good to hold onto bad moments in life...
