My fav is
BMW = bring money will ya As for the door handles, most/some posters have indicated that its to do with frozen water being on the parts. The solutions I've seen are usually a variant on getting rid of the popsicle effect.

Mine opened w/o problem at -30C a couple weeks back. I try to ensure I don't wash the X at least a couple days prior to cold snaps...that's a recipe for stuck doors and handles! I noticed they were a bit harder to open than normal (I guess expected at that temp) so I plan to shoot some silicon lube onto the latch and handle release mechanisms this weekend. Haven't done that in the 7 years I've owned it but figure it's about time.
