After putting the style 300 wheel on though, I'm getting some sort of whining noise coming from the transmission tunnel. Almost like the sound of a wheel bearing going bad, but a little deeper, and its mostly heard when the car is in gear and decelerating off throttle. I'm confused and concerned at the same time

That's interesting, mine is dong the same thing after changing the wheels. A little different though bc it only is whining under slight throttle, enough to keep me going but not accelerating/decelerating.

Yeah, I'm not sure what it could be. I wish BMW diagnostic fees weren't an arm and a leg...
