water pump radiator lower radiator hose(upper changed already) thermostat alternator(old one has voltage issues) He is going to check all the belts and change as needed. Anything else that should be checked out?

I would change all of the hoses and clips, I changed one, then another went 500 miles later so I did the lot. All of the hoses looked perfect inside and out, they just seemed to go in one tiny area. Car is 4.6 with about the same mileage as yours

Just went through this as a preventative maintenance...
ALL coolant hoses Temp sensors in cooling system The 2 hoses from the OSV that go across the top of the intake Battery Alternator All belts Spark plugs Air Filter New coolant of course Tranny, rear axle, front axle, and transfer case fluids Front and rear control arms and ball joints Front tension struts and ball joints Alignment Brake pads and fluid if you have a coolant leak at rear of engine, probably the valley pan gasket if you're leaking oil, probably the valve cover gaskets and upper timing chain gaskets Last edited by thunderX; 02-12-2012 at 01:28 AM. |

Then there are a few items you will not find in the BMW manual, but will find in the Daddy manual,
Order a bottle or two each of Lexol Orange (leather cleaner) & Brown (leather conditioner) and 2 new seat protectors (the ones that go under the baby car seats to protect the leather... and plan to spend about 2 hours with rags and a Shop-Vac cleaning out the muck left by Kid #1. By the time Kid #2 arrived, I ended up ordering new seat covers from Britax for Kid #1's seat. |
