Need news tires

I need no tires on my x5 3.0. I want to get 275/40R-20s in front and 315/35R-20s in back. First, can I do that on my 3.0? And. Second what tires do you recommend?

I was thinking either to go with Continental ExtremeContact DWS or Bridgestone

Dueler H/P Sport. Any experience or other recommendation?

Conti extreme contact dws have been absolutely amazing so far for me. A little searching will find you pages upon pages of tire recommendations as well. Here is one from not to long ago.

Papa13,
I was going to get the conti tires and checked out tire rack. I have tire pressure monitor, do I need to make sure the tires I buy have that feature?

Thanks

No you don't.

I have the conti as well. Can't praise them enough.

Will the tire pressure monitor still work, though?

The tire pressure monitor is in the rim, not the tire.

I could never get the Conti DWS fully balanced, continue to have an annoying shake around 70 miles. I recommend against them if you do not need all season tires

I would think this has something to do with your rims, your car, or the shop you go to.

Lots, i mean lots, of people use these, and this is the first time I hear this.

Tire monitors are on the rim, that means they will work with every tire.
