Wow thanks for stating the obvious. No really, I had convinced myself that it couldn't be the blower because it only happened when turning right etc. but I had not actually performed the simple test of turning it off.
Turns out I can't reproduce the noise with the heat off, but if I turbot back on and take a right turn- there it is. My new theory is that whatever has the fan (assuming there is only one fan) in place is starting to where and on right turns the fan shifts slightly and rubs against something. On left turns there is no shift or nothing to rub against.
Now I'll have to do some searches to see what I can find on the blower fan.
Thanks for the input another set of "eyes" on a problem is always great.
