Strange enough, this is the same on Lexus. Gas pressure goes low, one side doesn't get as cold as the other. That was my suspicion from the beginning.

For those of us in right hand drive countries, the passenger gets to stay nice and cold, not the driver :-)

I'm having the exactlysame problem with my 2006 4.8is. Driver's side cold, passenger side normal to hot. It's summer here (+25~+35 Celsius) and the AC is On all the time. I take the car to AC Shop and they filled the gas on the first time. Two weeks later, the hot passenger side back and they make a lot of pressure test and nothing, no leaks again, just the AC with a little less gas than needed (940g x 900g). The guy did the same, filled the gas and both sides cold again. Two weeks past until now and today, guess what? Yes, again. Tomorrow I'll back there...
