The amount of lead required to balance them is not a good sign either, new rims and tyres should need a lot less lead straight out the box!

Emailed pics to Ronel and got email back saying definate fakes. Seller still insisted genuine, maybe he was cought too? Courier collected today. I will look at non oe wheels but from a seller who deals in non oe. Just was a bet worried these maybe shipped in from China and not up to safety standards ect. Also if I am lied to about the wheels, what about the tyres?

They are fake. The certificate says 100% genuine. Of course they are genuine? But genuine what? It didn't say 100% genuine BMW wheels! besides, look at defects on the rib next to the stamp! Best of luck!

I know I'm late to the party, and not trying to start anything, but the factory wheels I have say RONAL and BMW on them.

The markings look exactly like lemansX5's except in my pic you can see the other side of the wheel - which say made in Mexico and RONAL.

Of course, mine aren't as clean as lemansx5's. LOL.

I call fake, the RONAL on the outer rim in white seems like BS. Even on my ACS wheels, it has the same RONAL stamp (IIRC) that TwinsPopa has on the wheel.

It should also have a # of sorts on the front in between the bolt holes.

Your pic seems to be of real wheels. Mine also has Ronal at same location.

Good luck with that. I found that most on Craigslist were "refinished" (which in some cases means rebuilt).

I'm not talking about the OEM "take-offs" that one might find. To me, those are the best deals...
