Question about the plastic boards and trims. When they came, did any of yours came a bit dull? If so; what did you use to sprouse it up? Some of the pics i see one here, the plastic looks great. Mine I order from Crevier bmw; the bottom plastic board seems a bit dull even thought it new. I tried using water; but once it's drys; it goes back to how it was.....

Mine came looking great. Wasn't a problem. Try using some of the products from this thread:

When you come to install the rear fenders DO NOT use the expanding rivets as instructed in the kit on the bottom hole, just use a normal push in rivet that comes in the RB kit. This way you wont need to remove the rear wheels. |

Sorry for the confusion!By the "push in plastic plug" ,I mean the "expanding rivet".This is the rivet that we fit(push-in) on the bottom hole of the rear fender where we cant use the rivet gun as it doesnt fit without removing the wheel. Its also best to jack up the car to give you more clearance to work with. |

I know what you mean. Everything worked except the driver side (left) rear bottom two holes where they say to use expanding and blind rivet for each; but none of them fit because for some reason, these two holes are a bit larger. I was lucky enough that the two rivets that I pulled out of those holes was still in good condition. I reuse those two (they are a bit larger then the ones in the RB kit) and worked great! The passenger side (right) didn't have that problem... But I just finish my running board today! Thanks for everyones help! Hopefully i can get a picture on here soon. I just need to run to the bmw dealership one of these days to get one extra blind rivet to really call the job done....
