HID Xenon light flickering

Hey, i just tried changing my xenon bulb that was out.... when i put the new bulb in it started flickering... i noticed that around the red piece that holds the bulb there looks to have been something burned or some corrosion around it. i used multiple different bulbs and they all flickered, so its not the bulb, im thinking its either the ballast or that bulb holder... first of all where can i buy the ballast at a good price? i know their expensive at the dealer... my other question is can i just replace the bulb holder? (i don't know what its called but its black and red and the bulb sits inside of it)

Thanks!

Did you mean this?

Sounds like it is arcing. Clean off all the carbon and see if it cures the problem otherwise start looking on ebay.
