I would hate to go through the hassle of removing this alternator. It just sucks

But thinking a little bit, since I had high voltage readings before I guess the winding of the old alternator was good. I also purchased another voltage regulator, so I'm going to re-install the old alternator with it, hoping this nightmare will be over.

I'll keep this thread updated.
