fmugur is on a distinguished road
Looking to buy one more bimmer e46 or e53?

I don't think it's a good idea but it doesn't seem like any of my family members like Honda or Toyota. This is for my daughter who's driving an odyssey since she got her license.
It seems like i6 is a better option since I am not looking for power and mostly for reliability. How would you sort them in terms of reliability?
4.4 is not bad but I didn't enjoy the chain guides job but I guess I can do it again if I have to.

Is there any of you that is planning to trade it in soon or you have major mechanical problems and want to sell it as is? Pm me if you are.
