you run into a problem though when that auto level doesnt work quite right and your driver side is brighter than passenger and the $tealer tells you nothing is wrong

Is it normal for the passenger side beam to be a little higher than the driver's side??

Yes, this is to prevent oncoming traffic from being blinded.

Have any of you notcied that the xenon lights, dip a little (or it might be raise a little), when you turn on the highbeam lights? It's not a significant leveling change, but it's noticeable if you pay attention.

Yes, looks pretty cool - haven't noticed the dip, but it does definitely adjust up after the bulbs light. Did this driving down the road the other evening and the kids beside me almost wrecked looking over at the white beam of light I was now shooting out.

Hate to admit this, but I catch myself making the sound of a light saber when I turn them on.

The leveling signal comes from 2 sensors connected to the lower suspension arms in the front and rear. (the right side only).
