I HAVE A 4.8IS WITH ALUMINUM TRIM AND THINKING OF SWITCHING TO WOOD. WHAT DO YOU LIKE BETTER THE ALUMINUM OR WOOD? WHAT ABOUT THE LIGHT POPLAR WOOD? ANY OPINIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS!

I like the aluminum and it's in perfect condition but it kind of looks plain. I want it to look more luxorious i guess you could say. For some reason I like the way the light wood really stands out with black interior.

Thanks for the offer but no. I don't want to trade or sell the trim until after I swap trims, if i even do. I want to make sure I like the wood installed because I know the aluminum is rare, and expensive.

You want anthracite maple wood trim. It's beautiful! It's kind of a smoky gray with a hint of brown in it. I believe it was only available after MY 2006. I retrofitted a set with my gray interior. I have photos but not on hand right now. I think it would match up nicely with black leather and would give you a mo luxurious look while matching the dark theme of your interior.
