4.6is front spoiler

Does the 4.6is front spoiler fit on 2004 X5 front bumpers(4.8is excluded of course)?
This would be an alternative to having to buy the complete 4.8is front bumper for those wanting to mod their X5 with the 4.8 kit!!!!!!!

No, unfortunately it doesn't

For the 2004+ X5's, your only alternatives to the stock bumper is to either install the 4.8is bumper cover or an aftermarket bumper cover.

Looking at the underbumper on both X5s,they do look pretty similar, but maybe its just an optical illusion!Since you say it doesnt fit then you know someone who has attempted to fit this and failed!
This being the case,I would still be tempted to get the 4.6is spoiler and adapt it on to the 2004+ X5,rather than get an aftermarket bumper. This would be different but retains the oem look.

Or get someone to custom fabricate one... I'm talking to my body shop guy to make a moulding; if I could get a hold of one; he can basically copy it make the bottom portion out of urtherine.
