The X6 wheels have a different hub size so you'll need hub centric rings to make those work right.

Are your wheels originaly E53 or E70 fitment?

As I posted in a previous wheel spacer thread, you MUST grind about 1/16" off the OE bolts when installing the H&R 25mm wheel spacers. Those who do not and overtorque the bolts will deform the first thread against the hub face and render the bolts UNREMOVEABLE!!! FYI, DO NOT ALLOW A REPAIR SHOP TO SWITCH THE FRONT AND REAR BOLTS ANYTIME THE VEHICLE IS IN, DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE LONGER FRONT BOLTS WILL CAUSE THE ISSUE WHEN INSTALLED IN THE REAR LOCATION>

The Rear wheels of the X6 fits with the rear wheels of the e53........the front wwill need hub centric ones......here i attach the pics...

As What i did today..swap out the wheels from the X6 Rear to x5.....one at a time first the LEft drove it on the hiway......still shaking .......then switch the right one now.....drove it.....still shaking.......so i figure....it cant be the wheels (e53 black ones).....then i took off the spacers put the black e53 wheels.....drove it on the hiway...i feel a little vibration.....still there so now im thinking it may not be the spacers after all..the spacer may just make it more noticeable than usual.....so now...im torn....what can it be.....can this vibration cause rotors from the rear wheels?......or is it something else....

so now my trial and error were
H&R 25mm spacer causing vibration...

got tires rear....
balanced it..
alignment...
swtich brand spanking new tires and rims from the X6 to e53 rear both sides...
took off spacers...
still have a light vibration....BTW the vibration feels Up n Down kinda.
BUT Girlfriend says.."it starts to feel like when you get a flat"....idk if that helps...
maybe road force balancing will help...now i did not check the front...ive had the feeling coming from the rear....maybe its coming from the front ...but we feel it under our seat....

That's how mine felt when I was moving from a stop or in bumper-to-bumper traffic rolling at about 10-15mph (when it would be in "vibrate mode"—it doesn't do it all the time).

Bad wheel bearing? Suspension bushing of some kind?

I'm about 99% sure that the wheel spacers wouldn't be the problem. I just checked my spacers and they were on correctly, I took em off and put em back on and they're def on correctly now. I've had multiple sized, different brand spacers on my E46 (for 3 years) and never had a problem with spacers.

I took it out for a test drive tonight and one thing I noticed was that when I would get the vibration it really felt like the car was being slowed down by something (or being held back). So I'm thinking it may be a caliper sticking. This morning after I drove it, parked it and as I was walking past the front end I (and my fiance) smelled something strange, that makes me wonder if it was the brakes.

wen my fuel filter was clogged it felt xactly how ur discribing it ( would get the vibration it really felt like the car was being slowed down by something (or being held back). So I'm thinking it may be a caliper sticking. This morning after I drove it, parked it and as I )

so i bought a cv shaft cuz my boot is ripped, then my fuel pump blew> new pump> the new pump was whining> changed fuel filter> no more noise+no more vibration/jerky engine at low rpm/speed

so a lot can be put into play.........tmrow ill do get the Road Force and have them check if wheel may be bent that will eliminate one thought of causing the vibration........

The engine doesn't feel like it's being held back.. the vehicle itself does. It has to be a suspension/brake issue (at least my vibration problem).
