What have I done? please insert suitable cd rom.

Hi, thankyou, as instructed downloaded v32 from a post on this site, burned to cd, run the cd and it set it all back up. One problem ticked off the list. Many thanks for all of your help. I will look into updating my sig.

downloaded the firmware, burned to CD. turned on the key, ejected the nav disc, inserted the burned disc, nothing happened. What do you suggest I do?.

In instructions I have read it says to go to the nav menu. I can't do that as all I can get on the screen is the message to install correct cd.

the firmware should be burned on a specific type of disk, at very specific speed... did you do that? the speed should be very very very slow, like 2x, and i don't remember the type of the disk... that info is posted somewhere... sorry, i could not be more specific... usually, once you insert the disk into the drive, it just starts running, like a bootable disk or something...

I have the right disk but I burned it at 8x. As I didn't see an option. Will find one and do again, thanks
