When removing the door trim panel to access the window clips, do you guys/girls disconnect the battery at all?

^I don't. Just don't turn on the key with the airbag disconnected, otherwise you'll get an Airbag light needing DIS to reset

I have been trying to install these clips stupidly. I thought the bolt screwed in expands the clip.....which it does , but not the way I was thinking.
What I was doing was putting the nut/bushing into the clip fully but could not get clip all the way in flush on the window. This is because the clip is now fully expanded, God I feel stupid lol. I'll try just inserting the nut partially on the clip, get clip on window and then screw in the bolt which pulls the nut/bushing into clip expanding it in the glass hole. Thanks for vid, was about to give up and take it to a shop. |
