DIY Video - Window Clip Replacement Tips

Hi guys,

Here is another video segment I did on how to replace the window clip that causes the window to rattle when it is lowered. I still have to put together how to remove the window trim, but this is good for now.

Window Clip: 51338254781

actually that bolt has to be tight enough to pop the nut (lol) into the plastic fully. If it doesn't seat complete, your clips will break stupid quick. Make sure that nut is completely in. ahahahah, that was funny writing that. It is funny because it's true. lol.

Thanks for this! I'm going to be tearing into my doors pretty soon, and now I'll order these clips before doing so.

regulator clip

So I replaced my broken window clip and still having the same problem. I know for sure it is the regulator clip. The cable became disconnected from the clip. The plastic around the cable lug broke. I called BMW and they told me it is part of the regulator. I'm not sure if the guy knew what I was talking about. I have seen some plastic ones on ebay, any idea if I can get an oem one of these from BMW?
