There really isn't much to post. That was one of the my requirements in building it. I didn't want and silly colored LED's with plexi glass and radically altered door panels. The intention is when this car is sold, all the OE stereo equipment goes back in. The only thing that you can see is the amp mounted underneath the cargo floor, that's it. The rest is hidden in stock areas.

I just may not have a good ear for sound. I've had friends spend some coin on a new sound system and then have me listen to it. They ask, "Doesn't it sound awesome. You can just hear the sound more clear!" I tell em that I can't hear a difference. The only different thing I hear is the Lic Plate holder rattle because the bass is shaking the trunk lid.

Then I turn on my car, I shut off the Stereo system, and press the long black slim button on the floor. I raise the volume by pressing harder on the button, when I hit 5K rpm, the symphony wakes up and the orchestra prepares for a standing ovation. The difference between my sound and his... The bass in his shakes his trunk lid and Lic Plate holder. The sound out of my external bass shakes my tail pipes, neighbors windows, and rips women's clothes off right on the street!!! lol

I wish we lived closer Dinan, I would have loved to hear the system. Maybe with a premo system, I'd be able to hear the difference. I never understood DSP. My Acura Vigor had the system and switching between Jazz, symphony, hall, etc... the sound just sounded more echoed and not any better. But you paid more for DSP. Never understood that. It's right up there with if you bought an X5 with Nav, Standard was a tape deck... CD Was optional??? lol. So if you didn;t have tape to play, you needed to spend $1000 for a cd changer. I think it is weird.
Twin, I feel you. I've heard supposed high end systems that sounded worse than my DSP crap. What it really boils down to is power and tuning. You can spend as much as I did and still have a poor sounding system with out a proper tune. That's where the processor comes in. The Bit One allows the user to tune every speaker with every frequency. In addition, you can add time delay to the speakers that are closest to you (drivers side) so that the soundstage is in the middle of the car. The advantage to audiophile quality components is that the listener does not have to have the perfect ear to pick up the quality and the you don't have to turn the power up to 11 to make it sound good. If you ever got to Cali, let me know. I think you have a better ear than you give yourself credit for, it just takes the right stereo to make you realize it.

Thanks for sharing your setup. I'm sure it's marvelous. What kind of tunes are you running through it?

Latest update - I took out the single Audison SR5 amplifier and installed a Voce 5.1K and SR2 to take the system to the next level. The 5.1K is powering the the highs, mids and sub and is connected with an Audison Bit In which allows a pure digital connection between the amp and processor. The SR2 is dedicated to the 2 rear fill speakers in the rear doors. The sound is simply amazing. The clarity and definition allow you to hear every detail in any type of music. It makes the listening experience so much nicer and I find myself looking for excuses to go run additional errands. If anybody is on the fence about upgrading their audio equipment......DO IT!!!! It doesn't have to be extreme to appreciate just how poor the stock components are. You would be surprised how adding a subwoofer and an aftermarket amp that runs the stock speakers can make music come alive. If any of you are ever in the area, I am always willing to meet up and swap some stories.
