X5chemist will become famous soon enough
Based on a folklore legend, when it’s my turn, I’ll go through the CD/radio openings! I’ll post pics.

Another remarkable set of images and description on the HVAC blower motor R&R!

Jeesh H Murphy: it looks like open thoracic/chest/gastrointestinal surgery, on a Youtube vid.

Our '01 blower motor has been chirping a bit/often for several years; it tends to chirp loudest on low vs a few steps up in speed, and seems to chirp more going up steep ascent roads, fwiw.

Still blows decently, but I know I am on borrowed time...

My long time semi-local Indie said it was a solid 4-5 hrs, and he 'hated' doing it, not so much for the R&R process but for the chance that everything/anything 'going back together/in place' would not be 'perfect' when completed, in his words.

NEway, on borrowed time here and maybe that 'time' will outlast me & the next owner can worry about it.

Good thread and info...

Clockwork is on a distinguished road
problem is, unless you do it yourself, you do run the risk of a mech just rushing things back together and NOT checking to see everything fits perfectly and therefore inducing squeeks.
