replacing the timing rails should be about $7k, if You don,nt do it someone else wil. your engine is a n62 not a m62b46 is a 4.6is

Thanks electricalserv. I saw M62 on the two water pipes above the
valley pan. I thought the N62 made its debut in 2002. I may be looking at 3300-3700 depending on whether or not the timing has to be adjusted. Sounds like you may be giving me the dealer's estimate for repair.
