Guess you didn't recognize the tune?
![]() My mirror use to whistle from time to time on the highway from a small crack in the cap......May be something similar on a fender liner of yours?

My tire "sing" on the interstate. Some tread patterns will cause more noise than others, all terrains and off road tires tend to hum or sing mine where nearly silent for the first thousand miles or so but now they are pretty loud. Some performance tires will have a higher pitches noise. It could easily just be your tires.

My OE/OEM B'stone Turenza EL42s (with the star on the sidewall) developed the whistle on concrete hwy surfaces when they were over half worn down. They get even louder at speeds over 80mph.

I've been having issues similar to this - mine happens at highway speeds and changes in pitch or totally disappears when I take my foot off the accelerator. When I put my foot back on the accelerator, the whining comes back. I'm starting to wonder if it's a wheel bearing...
Anyone got any ideas? |

I have not had ANY set of tires on my X5 that did not eventually become noisy.
