It is the lil' doo-hickie you plug into your iPhone to accept credit card payments. But I don't see how we are supposed to place a deposit without being present since you have to slide your card through the reader.

Mike please explain how are we supposed to place this deposit?

Right, I thought that is what it was. And yes, I don't understand how one is supposed to give a deposit without being present. Do we have to give the deposit, and then return for the coding? This is not clear. And if I am present, I do not have any issue in bringing cash. $60, I think we can all bring it.

hey man...i do have this too for my Business...you can use a card number as you tell him your number he puts it in.....basically you(Owner of the Reader) log in to Square website...he puts your card number down.....takes your info...and charge it from there...He wants to secure all appointments as alot of people i have recommended to him..and on the last min they bail out..and its bad on my end as i have told him (X) amount of will show up and they don't show........so if you are down with it...let this thread be known.

Yea I'm down. I think, unless something rush happens. Can you give me the address. I want to make sure I know where I'm going. Also, I'm not crazy about giving my card over the phone. I can paypal him or something. I'll give him the card if I have no choice though. So can we schedule a time? I want the earliest possible. Lol.
